We all face seasons of change during our life. In fact, change is inevitable. If you are not changing and growing, then something is drastically wrong. Change may be as simple as moving from one town to another or as complicated as changing career paths. For some people, everyday introduces new and seemingly unbearable changes. It may be a sudden illness, loss of a job, an accident, a major fallout with a loved one, or even the death of someone close Sometimes these changes happen so quickly without any warning that it proves difficult to cope. At times people turn to alcohol, drugs, or even violent behaviour when they do not see an apparent solution.
However, I am here to assure you today that there is a solution! That solution is in the person of Christ Jesus. No matter what life throws your way, you can and will rise above any temporary setbacks or disappointments. In Jeremiah 29:11, the Lord speaks directly to his people by saying "For I know the plans that I have for you. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

The Mount Zion mission in Jamaica commenced in 1994 by the efforts of Pastor K G Letford, Pastor P. Bramwell, Pastor V. S. Allen and the late Elder T. A. Green. Prior to 1994, whilst visiting the United Kingdom, Pastor Letford fellowshipped with the conference on several occasions. From this relationship came his proposal to affiliate his Jamaican ministries with the Mount Zion 7th Day Church of God, England General Conference. After meeting the General Board of Management a response was made  to ordained Pastor Letford as the ‘Overseer’ for the Jamaican Conference – thereby officially accepting Jamaica as part of the Mount Zion 7th Day Church of God England Conference. Other ministers and workers were also ordained in the Ministry
