President and Overseer Anton Deus was born in Tanzania and is married to Neema Deus, with whom he has eight children. He has served in the Priesthood for twenty-two years, beginning his ministry in 2000 as a Pastor in the New Apostolic Church. In 2005 he embraced the Sabbath truth and joined the Church of God, where he was ordained as a Pastor in 2006. In 2010 he was elected President and Overseer of the East African Conference under the Mount Zion 7th Day Church of God (UK International Conference). His vision includes completing the headquarters church building in Kitembe, Rorya, Tanzania, and supporting the conference through local initiatives such as raising European egg-laying chickens and African broiler chickens.
