From dedicated teams who lead in worship, teaching, outreach and care, to groups that uplift women, men, youth and families, our ministries work together to build a church rooted in faith, love and service. Mount Zion Youth Ministry
The Mount Zion Youth Ministry consist of young people from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. As a team we endeavour, through our spiritual lives to shine as a light that will lead others to Christ Jesus. Much emphasis is placed o unity and co-operation with the group so that the church and our community can be affected in a positive way.
Keen attention is also given to the spiritual, social, educational and emotional needs of individuals. Activities include singing, learning to play musical instruments, concerts and trips among others. We also encourage discussions and expressions of oneself and exploring individual talents.
Mount Zion Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry at Mount Zion 7th Day Church of God (UK International Conference, Headquarters) is led by Evangelist Donarie Smith, elected in March 2023. With a passion for Christ, evangelism and worship, her vision is to encourage women to live for God, to grow in fellowship and to build a ministry rooted in prayer and spiritual maturity.
She is supported by our National Deputy Women’s Leader, Sister Joy Simpson, who is committed to strengthening and empowering women of all ages. Together, they seek to mentor, uplift and help women recognise their God-given purpose, while building meaningful connections within the church and the wider community.
Guided by 1 Peter chapter four verses eight to eleven, the Women’s Ministry strives to learn continually, grow spiritually and remain connected to God and to each other.
The Amazing Men (Men's Ministry)
The Men’s Ministry at Mount Zion 7th Day Church of God (UK International Conference, Headquarters) is led by Senior Pastor Leroy Maragh. Our Amazing Brothers are men of integrity who strive to grow into the fullness of Christ and to live out the Word of God in their homes, church, workplaces and community.
Pastor Maragh works alongside the men to encourage, strengthen and empower them in their personal and spiritual development, helping them to lead victorious lives in today’s world. The ministry is committed to prayer, lifting up the needs of individuals, families and those in positions of authority, as taught in 1 Timothy chapter two verses one to three.
Within this ministry are Holy Spirit-filled men who stand as godly leaders, faithful husbands and devoted fathers, serving as a strong example in both the church and the wider society.
Mount Zion Health Ministry
It is God’s wish that we all enjoy good health and live long lives.
Psalms 90 verse 10 states, “The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they are eighty years…”
We do not live in a perfect world. Although God promised to take care of us, we have a responsibility to take care of ourselves. Part of taking care of ones self includes seeking knowledge. Indeed, the more informed we are the better we will be at caring for ourselves. With this in mind, our Health Ministries Department aims to present a variety of researched and current health related topics that will broaden our knowledge, enhance our thinking and above all promote healthier lifestyles.
